This calculator works out the density altitude based on the environmental conditions. This is vital for both tuning and run time prediction with drag racing dial in groups. The density altitude is also used for calculating down force generated from wings and spoilers. The three factors in the density altitude are temperature, barometric pressure and humidity.
|temperature||the station temperature|
|pressure||the station pressure|
|humidity||the station humidity|
|density altitude||the density altitude based on the atmospheric conditions|
note: temperature, pressure and humidity are at station and not adjusted for actual altitude
